Volunteers

Volunteers are welcomed at Pediatric Possibilities! We understand many OT schools require observation hours in order to apply. Whether you would like to gain observation hours or a broader understanding of the profession, we would like to assist you in your efforts to further the occupational therapy profession. We receive many requests and ask for your patience as we work to schedule volunteers.

We accept volunteers on a Fall, Winter, and Summer basis. The deadlines to submit applications for each period are: Fall (Sept-Dec) due August 1st, Winter (Jan-May) due December 1st, Summer (June-Aug) due May 1st. We require OT volunteers to commit to a minimum of 30 to 40 hours and OTA volunteers to commit to 20 to 25 hours, during a fall, spring, or summer period.

Thanks for your interest in volunteering at Pediatric Possibilities. Please provide the following information so that we can ensure that your volunteer experience at Pediatric Possibilities meets your needs. In addition, this information will aid us in providing recommendations or letter of references if needed.

Pediatric Possibilities has a legal and ethical responsibility to protect the privacy of all families and to protect the confidentiality of their health and personal information. Pediatric Possibilities must assure that its employees, volunteers, and observers keep protected health and personal information confidential and limit the sharing of information that is not immediately relevant to the child’s care. It is the obligation of Pediatric Possibilities to uphold that right.
